Both BayFire Fireplace Inserts preserve the natural appeal of
your fireplace while providing an efficient source of heat for your home. Both come
fully equipped with an easy-care, gold truvet accent, gold window frame, and a built-in,
160-CFM, variable-speed blower. Both feature your black, 'powder-coat' finish that
keeps them looking new for years. Both are constructed with the highest degree of
craftsmanship and detailing. In fact, the only difference between these two
fireplace inserts is the size. The BayFire XL is extra large to fit many traditional
fireplaces and offers up to 50,000 BTU's of heat. The BayFire L is sized slightly
smaller to suit other applications--including zero clearance installations--and provides
up to 43,000 BTU's.
